LED Statuses

The LED indicator shows the current charger state. The MyPlugStream app may give a more detailed explanation, especially when the charger is waiting for a schedule, random delay, load balancing, or site limit.

Colour or pattern State What it means
Rainbow pattern Startup self-test The charger is powering on and checking itself.
White Solid The charger is connected to the network but has not been accepted by the management system yet.
White Pulsing The charger does not currently have an internet connection.
Blue Solid The charger is ready to use and no vehicle is plugged in.
Blue Pulsing A vehicle is plugged in and the charger is waiting for the selected schedule.
Purple Solid A critical firmware update is in progress. Leave the charger powered while the update completes. Bluetooth may be unavailable during the update.
Green Solid A vehicle is plugged in.
Green Pulsing The vehicle is charging.
Green circle Waiting A smart charging random delay is active. Charging should start when the delay ends, if the vehicle is ready.
Orange Solid The charger is locked.
Orange Pulsing The charger is locked and someone is trying to use it.
Red Solid The charger safety system has activated and charging has stopped. Check the app and contact your installer or PlugStream Support if the fault does not clear.

If the LED does not match what you expected

Open your charger in the MyPlugStream app and check Charger readiness. It can explain whether charging is waiting by design or whether the charger needs attention.
