Use this page if your PlugStream charger has just been installed, you are setting up the app, or you are about to charge for the first time.
First steps
- Check the charger and cable look safe to use.
- Set up the MyPlugStream app or sign in to your existing account.
- Claim the charger using the installer QR code, invite link, or activation details you were given.
- Plug in your vehicle and check Charger readiness in the app.
- Confirm the charging mode matches how you want the charger to behave.
If anything looks damaged, smells unusual, feels hot, trips repeatedly, or shows a red fault state, stop using the charger and contact your installer or PlugStream Support.

Before contacting support
Open your charger in the MyPlugStream app and check the Charger readiness card. If you contact support, include:
- the Charger readiness title and message
- the LED colour and whether it is solid, pulsing, or changing
- whether the vehicle is plugged in
- the charging mode selected in the app
- whether the charger is online
These details help support tell the difference between a normal waiting state, such as a schedule or random delay, and something that needs attention.
